I have a 4.75 gallon Paughco Mustang tank, FXR
frame pattern, that I can easily modify to fit a
Savage. I have never used it, still needs lined,
has late model 13/16th HD pattern petcock, chrome
filler cap. Needs some TLC and a ton of bodywork.
If you want it, it's available. Not cheap, but
no replacement tank is. If you decide to run it,
you would need an AMF sportster riser mounted guage
holder for your speedometer.
Yes, the tank is factory new. They are shipped
very rough, in bare metal. It's in the garage, but
has still surface rusted. I'll dig it out tonight
and get it ready to cut and weld. If you don't want
it, at least right now, I'll have it on display
at the rally.
